As our exploration of welfare systems continues to evolve, I'm excited to announce the launch of a Swedish sister project: "Människa & maskin: Socialt arbete i smältdegeln" (Human & Machine: Social Work in the Crucible). This parallel journey will examine similar themes through the distinct lens of the Nordic welfare tradition.

Why?
By popular demand, I've received many requests to write in Swedish. Being my first language, these texts will naturally take on a more personal tone while examining the themes we've been exploring through the specific lens of Swedish context.

While this English blog series takes a broad international perspective, the Swedish project will focus specifically on the Nordic context, offering a more concentrated exploration of how these themes play out in Swedish social services. It will follow the same core themes we've been exploring here.
